About My Blog

For years, I have loved to share my heart and stories of growing up in a small rural area outside of Jackson, MS.  Recently, I turned 50 years old and have looked back on so much in my life.  I also feel deeply about everything in life and many times cannot explain myself unless I am writing.  This is to help me navigate some things in life as much as it to share and encourage. 

 

Sometimes, not everyone is meant to hear or read our stories.  I know if someone comes here, it was intentional and they choose to want to know more.  Other social media platforms are so "in your face", that many "followers" see things that are not meant for them. 

 

I am an extrovert by all sense of the word.  I love to be open to what God lays on my heart and connect with others in an honest and real way.  Make no mistake, if you are here reading my blogs, it is because God wants you here and not because you just scrolled upon it.  I hope you feel in the moment at times, you feel the love in my heart at times, and I pray you feel hopeful at all times!   Besides, we are in this thing called life, together.  Let's be hopeful together in the ups and downs!
